First gig done - second confirmed

On Saturday we played our first gig on the music tradeshow "mymusic". We had a great weekend und are very greatful for the nice compliments we got. Of course we will upload pictures of the weekend as soon as possible.
Additionally, our second gig is already confirmed.
On Dec.6th, we will play as headliner in the club "Schwarzer Adler" in Egelsee near Memmingen and we are looking forward to see you all there!

Mooncry in the radio
Cheers mates!
Next Wednesday, Oct, 29th, Mooncry will give a live-interview on the Radio-Station "Kanal-Ratte". Additionally, two songs of our current album "Legacy of hope" will be played. It will be recievable in the Area around Schopfheim/Lörrach/Rheinfelden on the frequence 104,5MHz.

Review in the magazine "Legacy"
Cheers,
today, the 2nd issue of the german Metal magazine Legacy was released and it contains a review of our album. The guys gave us 11 of 15 points and we are really pleased!
The Legacy magazine is the third biggest german Metal-Zine.
Of course we will scan the review and put it online soon.

News from the new album
Good evening everybody,
after long discussions and quite a lot of work some things are fixed now, we will not deny:
our debut will be called
Legacy of hope and will be published (in case nothing goes wrong) on 01/01/2008
Get first information and a look of the cover under
Releases.
Unfortunately the sound samples are still the old ones from the practising room. But this will be changed soon as well ;-).

Production finished – A few very big thanks!
Good morning everyone,
I seldom slept as good as last night. But a happy and satisfied musician is sitting here and listening to the result of the last two weeks. I have to say: For a 9-days-production, we have done the best possible!
The last two years were really worth all the work and stress. Firstly there was an idea, then we were two guys who looked for a singer, a drummer and a bass player. Then we were four guys who searched for a drummer and finally the has been a whole band that practiced like hell. And now I´m sitting here with seven mixed and mastered songs and nearly got tears in my eyes.
I have to thank a few people who made this become possible:
Of course, first I have to thank the 4 guys. They have made it possible that this idea finally became a well working band. I hope, we stay together for a very long time and can repeat or even overtop that.
A very big thank has to be said to Christoph. He put his whole PA-System at our disposal and takes care that our sound isn´t too bad in the rehearsals. Not to forget our demos. He mixes all that stuff for over one year now and will hopefully go on with it.
We also have to thank the two girls who created the special atmosphere on this album: Uli (Berti´s girlfriend) who recorded two flute intros and Dagmara (singer from Crash), who recorded female lines on three songs. Special thanks to you!
Also we have to thank Sali´s girlfriend Tamara for always having something delicate for us.
After our Promo-Pictures-Session she invited us to her place and cooked a very tasty dinner for us.
Thanks Tamara! Without you, we would have died of hunger already ;-)
And Last but not least the most important guy. Jürgen from the mediabase studios. He is the one who made us sound that bombastic and big. I think, with him we have found the a guy for the future and we would love to work with him on the next album, too.
So finally there is only one more thing to say: Look forward to the album and stay with the real music!

Sudio - Day 9
The Last day in the stuio has finally come to an end.
- 08:00 – Tamara (Sali´s girlfriend), Sali, Berti and Christoph meet Dagmara and her boyfriend and they start their trip to Geretsried.
- 10:30 – We arrived at the studio and start with the recordings of the female vocals immediately.
- 13:00 – Dagamara has finished the three songs. She has surpassed herself. She and her boyfriend drive back home.
- 17:30 – All the necessary corrections of the five songs are finished and we start mixing the two remaining songs.
- 20:00 – All the seven songs are mixed and mastered.
- 21:00 – We say farewell to Jürgen and start our trip back home.
In the galleries of the vocal recordings and the production a few pictures have been added.
And don´t forget: A look into our videos gallery is always worth it.

Studio - Day 8
The first day of mixing is over
- 09:30 – Sali bought something for breakfast and we begin the day with a nice breakfast
- 10:00 – We begin to mix the songs.
- 12:00 – Christoph comes along. He had something to do in Augsburg.
- 15:00 – Christoph leaves.
- 19:00 – Five Songs are temporary mixed. Berti removes his equipment and packs it into the car.
- 20:00 – Way home!
On Saturday, Dagmara will join us to record female vocals for a few songs. Also, the mix will be finished on Saturday.
And now, we´re are looking forward to sleep in our own beds at beautiful lake constance.

Studio - Day 7
After spending last evening with playing billard and pinball we have been very busy today.
- 09:30 – Sali wakes Berti und they have breakfast at the studio.
- 10:00 – We continue the vocals recordings.
- 15:00 – We search for something to eat and recognize something worldshaking: In Geretsried the don´t make the kepab hot enough for Sali.
- 18:00 – The vocals recordings are finished and even berti has contributed a few screams for Leagcy of hope.
- 20:00 – We spent two hours on mixing the first song (Beyond the waves) and we are already very satisfied with the result.
All of us have a huge grin on the face and even Jürgen (the sound-god himself) is very proud of what we achieved (Quote: “Maybe, this is the best production I ever made”)
Finally I wish you a good night and see you tomorrow for the temporary final mix.

Studio - Day 6
The short report of the last day:
- 10:00 – Enno continues recording the keys.
- 14:00 – The keys recordings are finished and Sali has warmed his voice up so we can start with the vocals recordings.
- 20:00 – The vocals are recorded for three songs. Enno has started his trip back home and Berti und Sali will spend an evening in twos.

Studio - Day 5
And one more day at the studio has come to an end.
- 10:00 – For the two remaining songs, drums, bass and guitars are cut.
- 11:00 – Berti records a few additional guitar-parts.
- 12:00 – Enno and Sali arrive and Enno starts recording the keys.
- 18:00 – For all but two songs the keys are recorded.

Studio - Day 4
Good morning everybody!
And another successfull day comes to it´s end.
Today Christoph came along. He has taken the pictures with him and will load it up as soon as possible. So you can have a look at them in the
gallery of the guitar and flute recordings.
Further there will be uploaded a few funny videos in our
Video-Sektion. Just check it out!
- 10:00 – After a nice evening at the cinema and a peaceful night, Uli started recording the flutes his morning.
- 11:00 – The flutes for he intros of Beyond the waves and Carpet of brown leaves are recorded. Berti starts recording the solo parts.
- 16:00 – The solo parts are recorded. A few corrections will be done in the upcoming days.
- 19:30 – For all but two songs, Jürgen has cut the drums, bass and guitars. The two remaining songs will be done tomorrow.
Tomorrow morning, Sali and Enno will arrive here in Geretsried and Enno will start the Keys recordings.

Studio - Day 3
Cheers,
After three days off, Berti started recording the guitars.
Pictures will be available in a few days because the didn´t find their way home, yet.
- 10:00 – After arriving at the mediabase studio yesterdy evening and spending the night here, Berti starts recording the rhythm-parts.
- 17:00 – The rhythm-parts are recorded and will be optimized in the following days.
- 19:30 – The clean parts are recorded. Uli arrived and will record the flutes for Beyond the waves and Carpet of brown leaves tomorrow morning.

Studio - Day 2
So let´s make another entry into our small studio-diary. At the second day here, it was Bernd´s turn.
- 10:00 – After having a peaceful night and a delicious breakfast, Bernd goes on with recording the bass.
- 18:00 – The Bass is recorded for all the seven songs and the guys (Bernd, Peter and Berti) start their trip back home to beautiful lake constance. We will continue on Saturday with the guitars.
Here you can have a look at a few photos of the last two days. Unfortunately some idiot had forgotten the digicam so these are taken with a cellphone and the quality isn´t good. But from Saturday ob we will deliver good-looking photos. For sure!

Studio - Day 1
The recordings for our first album at the mediabase studio in Geretsried near Munich start. In the following two weeks, we will record seven songs for the album.
- 10:00 – The first thing to do are the drums. After setting the drumset and the microphones yesterday, Peter can start immediately.
- 14:00 – There are very constructive periods and the recordings make progress very quickly.
- 18:00 - Peter turns out to be in top form. Already at 7pm, he has finished his work. And believe me, this sound kicks ass!
- 20:00 – Bernd has already recorded the bass fort wo songs

After uncountable hours of hard work, it is fulfilled:

But waiting was worth it!
Here you can have a first impression of our songs.
In first two weeks in November we will enter the studio to record our first album. The first gigs are planned in spring 2008. Please be patient.
